Artcurial and AD magazine gave “carte blanche” to 10 contemporary designers to stage their vision of style in 2010 in an exhibition of exceptionnal scenography held in the beautiful rooms of Artcurial’s haussmaniens hotel Marcel Dassault.

For art lovers from across the world wishing to acquire the finest examples of antiques, fine art and jewellery, The Biennale des Antiquaires has been a must-attend event for close half a century.

It will showcase the two pillars of its success, the quality of the exhibits and the antiques trade, in the most beautiful city in the world and heart of the art market.

The exhibition will take place from 27 June to 31 October 2010 at the Fondation Maeght in Saint Paul de Vence, a place steeped in history, friendship and passion for Alberto Giacometti.

The curator particularly wished to exhibit works from the foundation’s collection and that of the Maeght family. These are joined by other exceptional works from international public and private collections, some being shown for the first time, to fully convey the curator’s intention.

A triennial event organized at initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, LA FORCE DE L’ART aims to put on stage contemporary French creation and the artists who bring it about, with all the diversity of their origins and aesthetic choices.
