Following many pages of sketching, a full scale visual model was made to check proportions. I also built a functional model to check the ergonomics and comfort. Five fiber board male/female jigs were constructed to laminate 1/8” sheets of wood into their final bent ply forms.

Known for her chain Folf, Nina Bruun strikes back with this nice and elegant chair called Nest. Influenced by the coming season and of nature, this chair is inspired by a bird’s nest.

Nina Bruun’s idea was to create a graphical chaos which still felt like a unified whole.
